i bring it to the beach cause of the sand and shit. it works like a charm but make sure you buy 2 cause u wont be able to use it other than the beach
lol i put my ipod touch in a double zip ziploc bag and went to one of my local pools and tryed it out, i went to the bottom (11ft) and actually played cube runner (doesnt require tapping)

i got this case. first few days it is awesome. after two weeks it sucks. the screen protector makes all these glares and temporarly air bubbles, and the 3d view gets annoying as hell

just so you guys know otterbox does not make this for the iphone but they make a case called 2600 Series PDA Case. The case looks a little different but same protection to the max idea.
